ACLS Member Societies Seek Researcher for Project on Digital Scholarship and Tenure

With funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the College Art Association (CAA) and Society of Architectural Historians (SAH) are seeking a contract researcher to investigate the place of digital scholarship in regards to tenure and promotion in their respective fields. The researcher, working with CAA and SAH staff, will have eight months to compile and review data on tenure and promotion guidelines in the art and architectural history disciplines. Upon completion of the research, the consultant will be asked to report on his or her findings and to present a set of recommendations for evaluating digital scholarship in tenure review to a CAA-SAH task force.
