Sexual harassment is a very significant issue on university campuses and elsewhere in American life. Universities are taking additional steps to respond to instances of sexual harassment, and AFS members on campus should be aware of those local efforts and resources. Two additional information and support resources for those seeking to prevent or to respond to sexual harassment--one a report from a White House task force, and the other a slideshow from the Tennessee Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence--are available on the AFS web site. In addition, the web site for the White House effort is https://www.notalone.gov/.

Thank you, Tim, for your timely post. Your recommendations for resources will help campus personnel become aware of both the extent of the problem and of tools for being part of an on-going effort to change the climate on campus to a more pro-active and protective one. I will post links to this where I can. Thank you again for your leadership in this iniitiative. Maggi Michel
