Submitting a 2014 Annual Meeting proposal requires meeting registration. Student and low-income members of AFS enjoy considerable savings over nonmembers in meeting registration rates.
However, processing membership takes staff time, so you can't join AFS, then register and submit a proposal all in one sitting. It may be a few days before you receive an email notification that your membership is
activated, and you can sign in and submit your discounted registration and/or proposal. You will have to join AFS by March 27 if you want to submit a proposal and register at the member rate.
