Great Camp Sagamore is a National Historic Landmark site of 27 rustic
buildings on a pristine lake in the Adirondack forest preserve; it is a
steward of its historical fabric year round and its use for educational
and recreational programs in season. The executive director works with a
small year round team and an increased staff of 25 in season in support
of preservation and teaching, room and board functions for residential
programs, special events, and daily visitors.
