The Carolina Postdoctoral Program for Faculty Diversity is accepting applications until January 3, 2013, for a two-year postdoctoral fellowship. The purpose of the Program is to develop scholars from underrepresented groups for possible tenure track appointments at the University of North Carolina and other research universities. Postdoctoral scholars will be engaged full-time in research and may teach only one course per fiscal year.

The opening is listed in the AFS Career Center, but go directly to the UNC site for complete information about the program and how to apply -- http://research.unc.edu/offices/vice-chancellor/programs-projects-services/DATA_RES_VCRED_POSTDOC.

Folklore applicants should indicate that they wish to be considered by the Department of American Studies.
