This article by Doug Ward in the Vancouver Sun back in on October 18th, 2011, shows the customs and traditions being used in the occupy movements. I am sure they will develop more as the movement(s) evolve.
The human microphone has been both celebrated as a way to make sure all voices and perspectives are heard. It has also been criticized for incorrectly relaying messages, and creating confusion, much like the game of "broken telephone”.
