Don Yoder (1921-2015), expert on Pennsylvania German folklife, died August 11, 2015. He was Professor Emeritus of Religious Studies and Folklore and Folklife at the University of Pennsylvania, a founder of the Pennsylvania Folklife Society and editor of the journal Pennsylvania Folklife, past president of the American Folklore Society, and recipient of the 2006 AFS Award for Lifetime Scholarly Achievement.
