The Society for Applied Anthropology invites
you to submit proposals for panels, papers, and posters for the spring 2015
SfAA meetings in Pittsburgh, PA (March 24-28). Its theme this year is
"Continuity and Change.” As a part of this, the Society hopes to pull together
groupings of presentations around important, timely topics—among them: tourism,
heritage, and museum studies.
If your research or professional activities
touch on these subjects, please consider participation!
Topics may include, but are not limited to:
ecotourism, heritage tourism, community-based tourism, representation and
privilege, material culture, sustainable tourism, heritage conservation, museum
collections, historic preservation, folklore and folklife, LGBTQ heritage,
tourism industries and work, and identity and place.
Submit your paper or poster idea directly to
the SfAA website at http://www.sfaa.net/annual-meeting/.
