2010 Annual Meeting Registration and Proposal FormsThe American Folklore Society will hold its 122nd annual meeting at the Hilton Nashville Downtown in Nashville, Tennessee, on October 13-16, 2010. The theme for this meeting, on which presentations are encouraged but not required, is Lay and Expert Knowledge. The submission deadline for all proposals is March 31, 2010.

Submit a proposal for an individual presentation or organized sessionFollow this link to submit a proposal for an individual presentation (a paper or a poster presentation) or for an organized session (a panel, a poster session, a forum, or a media session) that you are chairing. If you are to be a presenter in an organized session, for which your chair will submit the proposal, you will need to register for the meeting yourself. Please do so by selecting option 2 below. 2. Register for the meeting onlinePlease select this option if you are to be a presenter in an organized session--even though your chair will submit your proposal, you must still register for the meeting here--or if you want only to attend the meeting and will not be submitting a proposal for the program. 3. This form is only for events such as section business meetings or receptions; breakfast, lunch, or dinner meetings; and the like.
